Job Description
AGT Foods, a division of Alliance Pulse Processors Inc., is seeking a Manager - Financial Systems and Analysis to join our Regina Head Office team.
The Manager, Financial Systems and Analysis (MFSA) will be a key part of the monthly and quarterly consolidated financial reporting process. The MFSA will be responsible for the information flow in and out of the consolidation software (Onestream). This will include preparing and/ or reviewing journal entries in Onestream, reconciling intercompany accounts and ensuring timely reporting to stakeholders. Finally, the individual will contribute significantly to the implementation, maintenance, documentation and testing of internal controls related to financial systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Oversee financial reporting software (Onestream)
· Ensure timely and accurate information is provided to stakeholders
· Preparation/ review of journal entries
· Assist with intercompany account reconciliations
· Communicate with global users necessary changes to reporting structures
· Assist with preparation of quarterly financial statements including note preparation/ review, financial statement tie outs and rolls, etc.
· Assist the financial reporting team with various monthly and quarterly tasks including variance analysis templates, subsidiary consolidation schedule tie outs, etc.
· Provide backup coverage to various accounting team members creating excellent learning opportunities and breadth
· Assist with internal control design, implementation, documenting and testing
· Other accounting and finance duties as necessary
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
· CPA designation
· Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel & Outlook
· Attention to planning, process, and detail
· Quick learner
· Desire for continued improvement and understanding
· Able to communicate effectively with different internal groups around the world
· Experience with Onestream or other consolidation software considered an asset
