Our client in the financial services sector is looking for a Manager, Finance to join them on a 6-month assignment. The role is working 3 days onsite at their offices in downtown Toronto. Responsibilities of the Manager, Finance is as follows: Review and ensure daily submissions of cash flow to investors are appropriately recorded and reconciled Review and ensure all monthly journal entries are appropriated recorded within structured and consolidated entities Lead and act as the key liaison between Treasury, Finance, IT, Mortgage Servicing and external parties with respect to the development of projects, and analyze potential issues and implications for the business Builds effective and meaningful relationships with internal/external stakeholders and ensures alignment between stakeholders Develop, review, and maintain business performance reporting monthly and provide timely business insights to business partners in the treasury functional area Manage, evaluate, and delegate process improve activities surrounding current templates, processes and continuously determine areas for improvement Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA designation preferred 5 years of experience in Capital Markets and/or Financial Services 3 years of managerial experience in financial reporting/analysis Effectively multi-task, prioritize and work independently under pressure within strict deadlines If you are already registered with The Mason Group, please contact your Recruiting Consultant directly with reference to job 18912.
