To learn how Subaru Canada, Inc. protects the personal information you provide, please view our Privacy Policy . corp Build your [year] [model] Build your [year] [model] or [model2] 20498 Up to [rebateTotal] in Government Incentives Available Manager, Connected Business – Production & Operations The Manager, Connected Business - Production & Operations will utilize their strong business acumen, knowledge and understanding of connected vehicle technologies to manage all aspects of telematics relations production and operations.This person will also support all future Telematics generations across all vehicle models, specifically in the production and operations area.The incumbent will report to the Senior Director, Product Management and will be based out of Subaru Canada’s head office in Mississauga, ON (hybrid workstyle).Primary Job Responsibilities:Work with internal departments to lead Telematics related initiatives, focusing on each departments’ required interaction and involvement.Provide operational leadership to SCI business units.Build and manage operational reporting/analysis framework for internal and external stakeholders.Create report card for all Dealers focusing on both trial and paid subscriptions.Troubleshoot production issues by coordinating with IT, Call Centre, and SCI other necessary business units.Build and present customer and internal communications (i.e. bulletins, dealer communication, utilization reports).Provide ongoing training, and internal communication support, on a variety of Connected Business topics to internal departments (Customer Care, Academy, PR, etc.).Create and manage policies and procedures documentation for SCI stakeholders on all Connected Business topics.Work collaboratively with other department members to provide service and process improvement on existing platforms.Plan and manage the operational budget for the department.User Acceptance Testing (UAT) support as needed.Other duties as assigned.Required Skills / Attributes:Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) with ability to build relationships across business units and facilitate consensus building.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong Power BI and Excel skills.High attention to detail with focus on quality.Ability to rally others for a quick resolution to issues that come up.Ability to detect issues early.Ability to create reports with detailed analysis and research for multiple audiences.Self-starter and capable of working with little supervision in a fast-paced environment.Qualifications:University Degree (Business or IT preferred).5-10 years’ experience within an automotive, telecommunications, or engineering environment.PMP designation an asset.Technology savvy with operational experience.Extensive knowledge of infotainment, IT, and telematics systems.Knowledge of automotive technology / diagnostic skills an asset.Industry knowledge in automotive, technology, or communications.Advanced PC skills (Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint).Valid driver’s license (with ability to operate a manual transmission car a significant asset).Bilingualism would be an asset (French and English).Physical Conditions:Required to work in and around vehicles for testing.Required to work in the vehicle garage as well as at a desk.Travel to USA and Japan may be required.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Please submit a cover letter and resume to recruiting@subaru.ca no later than July 5th, 2024, and reference Job ID # MCB– 24.06 and your first and last name in the subject field.*The posting may close early if a suitable number of applications are received.When applying, please ensure that you include your salary expectations (range).
