Maintenance Technician Job In Winnipeg

Diva Delights is looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Diva Delights is a wholesale bakery that has been in operation for over 25 years manufacturing baked goods. Diva Delights specializes in the production of twice baked crackers and cookies while striving to produce the best quality product for our customers. Diva Delights is locally owned and operated.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair all production and packaging equipment on an as-needed basis or by following preventative maintenance program
• Repair / Replace defective machinery parts and perform equipment adjustments
• Assist in setting up, Change over of production equipment and work with operators to increase up-time reliability
• Troubleshoot and identify root-causes of equipment failure quickly and accurately
• Take Ownership of assigned tasks and complete them in a timely and efficient manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Good Electrical as well as mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working experience with electric motors, bearings, gearboxes, compressors, pneumatic and electric components and controls
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Time Flexibility (rotating shifts)
• Ability to read and follow detailed SOP's, Repair Manuals, and Schematics
• User level of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Able to communicate well with other team members and leadership group

What We Offer:
Hourly wage starting at $25-$28, based on skill and experience
