We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support our Mississauga Advanced Logistics Centre.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all company and work safety policies and procedures
  • Follow all mechanical and electrical work instructions and procedures
  • Assist Millwright Mechanic with Preventive Maintenance and Repair for conveyors and machines
  • Assist Electrician with electrical installations and lighting system
  • learn the operation of the conveyors system to troubleshoot and fix conveyor problems
  • Have basic computer skills to access emails and PM program
  • willing to learn the operation of power equipment and man-lifts machines
  • Assist with new installations of equipment and conveyors during weekends
  • Flexible to work overtime and weekend during busy operation times
  • Willing to learn the operation of battery changing machine
  • Willing to learn and perform the maintenance of power machines batteries
  • Assist with general building, racks and dock doors repairs
  • Assist with collecting recycling material (cardboard and plastic) sometimes
  • Organize and clean maintenance part room and workshop
  • Contact service contractors to fix equipment and facility requests
  • Have own personal basic hand tools

Requirements

  • Grade 12 high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one-year work experience in industrial environment
  • Shift: Monday to Friday 6AM-2:30PM with flexibility for overtime hours as needed
