We continue to strategically expand our global reach with 32 acquisitions since 2012.We are looking for a Maintenance Technician to support our Mississauga Advanced Logistics Centre.ResponsibilitiesFollow all company and work safety policies and proceduresFollow all mechanical and electrical work instructions and proceduresAssist Millwright Mechanic with Preventive Maintenance and Repair for conveyors and machinesAssist Electrician with electrical installations and lighting systemlearn the operation of the conveyors system to troubleshoot and fix conveyor problemsHave basic computer skills to access emails and PM programwilling to learn the operation of power equipment and man-lifts machinesAssist with new installations of equipment and conveyors during weekendsFlexible to work overtime and weekend during busy operation timesWilling to learn the operation of battery changing machineWilling to learn and perform the maintenance of power machines batteriesAssist with general building, racks and dock doors repairsAssist with collecting recycling material (cardboard and plastic) sometimesOrganize and clean maintenance part room and workshopContact service contractors to fix equipment and facility requestsHave own personal basic hand toolsRequirementsGrade 12 high school diploma or equivalentMinimum one-year work experience in industrial environmentShift: Monday to Friday 6AM-2:30PM with flexibility for overtime hours as neededIngram Micro is an inclusive Equal Employment Opportunity employer, with focus on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
