Job Description
Overview
As the Senior Millwright / Maintenance Supervisor for our multi-process plant operating across 3 shifts with a team of 60 employees, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of equipment used in galvanizing, coating, dipping, and plating processes.
- Day shift
- 433A Millwright license is a MUST
- Previous experience as a maintenance supervisor/team lead would be an asset
- chemical batch processing
Responsibilities
Team Leadership
- Lead and manage a diverse team of maintenance technicians across 3 shifts.
- Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure the team's effectiveness in maintaining equipment for various processes.
Maintenance Planning
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize equipment uptime and minimize disruptions across all processes.
- Coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules to avoid impacting production targets.
Preventive Maintenance
- Establish and oversee a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for equipment used in galvanizing, coating, dipping, and plating.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and ensure process reliability.
Troubleshooting and Repairs
- Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose issues, and coordinate repairs across all processes.
- Implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure the efficient operation of the plant.
Safety Compliance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols for all maintenance activities.
- Conduct safety training and promote a culture of safety among maintenance staff to prevent accidents and injuries.
