Job Title: Maintenance ManagerJob Type: PermanentJob Location: Onsite, Woodstock, ON, CAWe are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for one of our leading clients in the Food Manufacturing industry.Responsibilities:Demonstrates effective leadership skills, including the ability to plan, delegate, and oversee activities while positively influencing individuals' opinions and attitudes.Possesses extensive knowledge of industrial equipment and maintenance procedures, encompassing a range of systems such as pumps, conveyors, hydraulic systems, cooking equipment, presses, milling, packaging systems, sanitation systems, boilers, compressors, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical systems, control circuitry, instrumentation, industrial automation, PLCs, and water treatment.Reviews and ensures adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) among employees.Participates in or provides support to the HACCP team.Reviews non-conformances in food safety discovered during plant inspections and implements corrective actions.Actively promotes the SQF program for food safety and quality organization-wide.Responsible for implementing and maintaining the 5S program within the maintenance function, including participation in monthly plant and equipment inspections.Manages various maintenance tasks, including work orders, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and temporary repairs.Handles corrective actions requests for maintenance stemming from internal and third-party audits.Oversees budgeting, cost control, operational efficiency, and optimization, including support for Capital Expenditure (Capex) and Operational Expenditure (Opex) related to maintenance activities, along with associated reporting obligations.Qualifications:A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Maintenance departmental.At least 3 years’ experience in leadership roles with direct reports or team leadership.Must have a Millwright/Electrician license or an Engineering degreeExperience in food manufacturing is preferred.Proficiency in managing timelines and projects involving multiple stakeholders.Strong oral and written communication abilities.Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Join our team for a rewarding career as a Maintenance Manager with our clients.Apply Now!
