This is an entry level position where you will learn the trade and grow into what will be a long, lucrative career.If you are motivated by sales success and financial success, posses an entrepreneurial mindset and consider yourself to be a natural hunter, this opportunity could be right for you.In this position, you are responsible for:Identifying and targeting new businessthroughout North America through in-depth market research and networking.Develop supply partnerships with lumber producers and structure a deep knowledge of all related products.Negotiate product pricing, terms and contracts with all suppliers in line with company strategy.Work closely with internal teams involved in logistics and operations ensuring seamless transactions.Consistently engage with new and existing clients to ensure that you understand their needs.Be the source for up to date product information and market trends as a value added service.If the following sounds a lot like you:Sales background. If it were in LBM's in either a retail setting or wholesale, that would be a definite asset.Have a degree or diploma in business, finance, sales/business development or related. A definite asset.Prior experience that required you to influence peoples’ decisions, also an asset.Success driven.
