We do whatever it takes to win, but never compromise safety, animal welfare, integrity, or our valuesReporting to the Dispatch Manager, the Logistics Coordinator works closely with field supervisors, drivers, catching crews, customers, and other stakeholders to create schedules to fulfill Riverdale’s workThis role is part of a high-performance team and involves creating/maintaining schedules, managing issues that occur in the field, ensuring the integrity/accuracy of data in our dispatch software, and ongoing communication with various parties. The logistics department is the nerve center of Riverdale’s operations and you will play an important role in helping the company’s operations run smoothly and efficientlyThis is the perfect opportunity for tech-savvy, detail-oriented individuals who are looking to work with a team of multi-tasking professionalsWorking HoursOur Dispatch team operates in 3 shifts:Day: 8am-4pm / Monday-FridayAfternoon: 4pm-12am / Sunday-ThursdayNight: 12am-8am / Monday - FridayDuring the first 3-4 months of employment, new dispatch team members rotate between day, afternoon, and night shifts will be required for trainingOccasional overtime or changes in working hours may be required based on business needJob DutiesClick here to see the Job Scorecard for this role. You are comfortable navigating through different programs as needed such as Excel, Email, and Data Entry, and are familiar with keyboard shortcuts.
