Logistics Consulting Manager - Lean Management
La Pocatiére, Quebec (open to non local candidates)
6 months assignment, excepted to start ASAP
40 hours per week - occasional weekends
TRIGO Quality Solutions is looking for an Independent Consultant with a strong Logistics background with a focus on Lean to perform the redesigning of a production line. We are open to non-local candidates and will cover travel and lodging
Objectives :
- Redesigning input and output areas on the production line
- Assisting in the design and coordination of eco-friendly racks for production line delivery
- Ensuring responsible security of packaging in shipping procedures
- Enhancing the reliability of the store layout
Required Skills/Certification:
- Logistics experience, specifically in receiving and dispatch within the railway industry, is highly valued but not exclusively required. Relevant experience from other industries demonstrating clear understanding of complex logistical operations will also be considered.
- University degree in a related field is desirable for a strong theoretical foundation and practical expertise.
- Proficient knowledge of continuous improvement processes, with a particular focus on sustainable development, is crucial for contributing to ongoing efforts to enhance operational efficiencies and adhere to sustainability standards.
- Concrete experience in shipping and receiving procedures, specifically in a regulated environment like the railway industry, is essential. Proficient in managing loading, shipping, and receiving operations, regulatory documentation, managing timelines, and adhering to safety and quality standards
