This firm has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities. - Boutique law firm with expertise in various litigation matters. - Recognized as one of Canadian Lawyer's Top Litigation Boutique Firms in Canada 2023. - Office conveniently located in Toronto's Financial District!Duties and Responsibilities: - Provide legal administrative support regarding labour/litigation matters; - Schedule meetings and conferences; - Draft/edit correspondence and legal documents from precedents and/or dictation; - Manage calendars and dockets for lawyers; - Prepare monthly financial reports, and submit expenses; - Prepare and maintaining a bring-forward system; - Maintain electronic filing system; - Organize, maintain, purge, and update closed file records; and - Additional tasks as required. Requirements: - 10+ years' experience working as a Labour/Litigation Legal Assistant; - Legal secretary/assistant certificate from an Accredited Institution; - Proficiency working in a document management system (DMS); -Experience with CaseLines; - Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Outlook and Excel) - Excellent communication skills, written and verbal; - Solid attention to detail and time management skills; and - Ability to prioritize and meet urgent deadlines.
