The successful candidate must be well organized, flexible, and enjoy the administrative challenges of working with a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.BenefitsAdvancement opportunitiesCompetitive salary and benefits, including group health and dental, as well as retirement benefitsDedicated training and mentorshipEducational reimbursement for recognized licenses and designationsHybrid work scheduleEpic year-round employee events!Wellness programs, including special initiatives for new momsOpportunities to give back to our communities through philanthropic programsMembership to an exclusive employee discount programFree parkingMasters assist employees by paying for work related courses, as well as annual licensing and designation fees, including Life License designations!Key AccountabilitiesLife InsurancePrepare insurance carrier illustrations, proposals, applications and other policy-related documents for clientsPlace order for all necessary insurance policy underwriting requirementsSubmit life, disability and critical illness insurance applications to insurance companiesProactively follow up on all pending cases to ensure company service standards are metEnsure that all policy issuance and settlement processing steps are carried out in a timely and compliant mannerProvide Advisors with updates on ongoing policy casesIdentify potential concerns/issues and assist Advisors with solutionsProvide quotations for proposed policy changesRespond to client calls and answer queries relating to coverage and billingResolve issues regarding client premiums, account reconciliation, and other issues as they ariseMaintain hardcopy and electronic client filesProvide backup to team members during periods of absencePrepare annual commission report for auditorsPerform other related duties and special projects, as requiredAdministrative DutiesMaintain and update the filing system, including ensuring all documents and paperwork are filed and logged accordingly in the systemLog existing and terminated client filesOther administrative duties such as printing, photocopying and scanning of documentsCandidate Qualifications3+ years of administrative experience in the life insurance industryKnowledge of life insurance terminology and productsExperience with insurance carriers’ products, software and websitesAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Program: Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookProven accurate data entry skills and attention to detailLife License (LLQP), or the willingness to obtain within 1 year of continuous employmentExcellent organizational and effective time management skillsAbility to work independently while being committed to functioning as a team playerProfessional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced and challenging environmentPost Secondary education is preferredSkill Sets RequiredEffective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and writtenExcellent organizational and time management abilitiesSelf-motivation with ability to problem-solve with limited supervisionFlexibility to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with changing prioritiesAbility to work independently and as a team memberAccurate data entry skills with a strong attention to detailWe at Masters Insurance Limited are an equal opportunity employer committed to an inclusive workplace.
