X-Copper Professional Corporation, a premier law firm with over 20 years of experience in the legal community, is seeking a Licensed Paralegal to join our new Windsor branch. With more than 15 branches across Ontario and a commitment to continued growth, we offer a dynamic and supportive environment for our team.Role Overview:Reporting to the Branch/Regional Manager, the Paralegal will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional customer service to both prospective and active clients, conducting consultations in-person, via telephone, and email. They will manage client files and appointments with precision, ensure confidentiality of all corporate and client information, and correspond professionally with courts, agents, clients, and colleagues. Additionally, they will be responsible for reviewing and drafting legal documents, conducting legal research, and handling various administrative tasks such as reconciliation of daily sales, verifying agent invoices, and maintaining company records.Responsibilities:Provide exceptional customer service to prospective and active clientsConduct in-person, telephone, and email consultations for prospective clientsAccurately schedule client files and appointmentsEnsure confidentiality of all corporate and client informationCorrespond professionally with courts, agents, clients, and co-workersReview and draft legal documentsMaintain general correspondence via telephone, email, and fax inquiriesRequest required documentation from the courtsRequest, receive, and review disclosuresConduct legal researchHandle reconciliation and bank deposits of daily salesVerify agent invoicesComply with all corporate policies and proceduresAssist with clerical duties such as data entry, archiving, and maintaining company recordsQualifications & Skills:P1 Paralegal License (required)Minimum of 2 years of previous paralegal experience (required)Must be in good standing with the Law Society of OntarioCourt experience (preferred)Comprehensive understanding of the POA/HTA and Criminal Code of Canada (preferred)Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced work environmentStrong time management skills and attention to detailWhat We Offer:We provide a competitive compensation package that includes health and dental benefits, vacation, vehicle and coverage of LSO fees.Our workplace fosters a collegial atmosphere with robust mentorship opportunities.If you are a passionate and driven individual looking to advance your career, we encourage you to apply.Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.X-Copper is committed to diversity in the workplace and is an equal opportunity employer.
