Do you have strong administrative and organizational skills? Are you looking to gain hands-on experience in a fast paced legal environment and develop your legal skills?

Great Gulf is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Law Clerk to join our team in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide executive assistant report to the General Counsel, including management of team meetings, managing of budgeting, preparing presentations, assisting with implementation of policy initiatives.
  • Assist with maintaining electronic filing systemoflegaldocumentation
  • Establish bring forward system to manage keydates
  • Facilitate general document management including saving documents, creating material agreement folders and updating corporate databases
  • Maintain litigation reporting chart and provide general litigation support.
  • Provide legal supportfor the legal teamonvarioustransactionsincluding setting upofdatarooms;reviewofclosingdocuments,compiling schedules, arranging signatories
  • Facilitate the execution of documents, in person and electronically, including the transmission of signed documents to various stakeholders
  • Manage department invoicing, tracking,and circulating approved invoices
  • Other administrativetasksand/orspecialprojects,asneeded

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma as alawclerkorparalegalstudies,orrelatedfield
  • Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong critical thinking ability and resourcefulness totroubleshootproblemsanddiscoversolutions
  • Strong proficiency in MSOffice, PowerPoint and Excel; onlinebusinessand legalresearchtools
  • Excellent time management, discretion, professionalism organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Interested in takinginitiative
