Legal Counsel
Reports To
- Director of Legal Counsel
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide legal advice and support on a variety of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leases, financing & operations
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents related to real estate transactions
- Coordinate with external counsel on legal matters
- Other legal duties as required
Qualifications & Experience Required
- Member in good standing with one of the Canadian provincial law societies
- Real Estate experience is required
- Experience in drafting legal documents
- Strong organizational, communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced and high-volume environment
- Attention to details
- Fully bilingual in French & English
- Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
- Discretion and confidentiality
