LECTURER IN GAME DESIGN AND VIDEO GAME LEVEL

As a lecturer in Game and Level Design, you are responsible for teaching courses to students, creating course syllabi, correcting students' assignments. Among the skills and notions transmitted, we find:

  • General Video Game Architect
  • Game Designer
  • Level Designer
  • Game Narrative Designer

Status: Contract – Fall 2024 session

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan class sessions;
  • Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner;
  • Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach;
  • Administer and correct assessments;
  • Monitor each student and encourage success;
  • Be available to students in order to promote their development of the skill targeted by the course;
  • All other related tasks.


REQUIREMENTS

  • You must be legally entitled to work in Canada;
  • Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with an option or concentration in the relevant discipline;
  • Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five (5) years;
  • Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
  • Mastery:
  • Software Analysts (Agile/Scrum, System Modeling and Design Patterns);
  • Game Developers (Object-Oriented Programming);
