Job DescriptionPosted Friday, April 19, 2024 at 4:00 AM As a lecturer in artificial intelligence, you are in charge of teaching courses to students, creating course syllabi, correcting students' assignments. Among the skills and notions transmitted, we find: Skills related to the technical needs of AI industries The mathematical concepts necessary for the creation of models and solutions applicable to the computer field Preparing and exploring data, defining a problem and choosing the appropriate algorithm Integration of different interdisciplinary elements in order to generate results that support decision-making that add value to the company Understanding how machine learning works Presentation of results and conclusions in different forms of application. Status :Contract – Fall session 2024 Location:Lasalle College, Montreal (Quebec) and online RESPONSIBILITIES Plan class sessions ; Deliver sessions in a dynamic, efficient and structured manner ; Design formative and summative assessments using the competency-based approach ; Administer and correct assessments ; Monitor each student and encourage success ; Be available to students in order to promote their development of the skill targeted by the course ; All other related tasks. REQUIREMENTS You must be legally entitled to work in Canada ; Hold a university certificate or diploma or a college diploma, with an option or concentration in the discipline concerned ; Teaching or have teaching experience in the discipline for one full semester within the last five (5) years ; Have practised a trade or profession related to the discipline or course in question for at least two (2) years.
