If you want to be part of tomorrow’s health today, we want to hear from you.Job Summary:The Biopharma and Provider Solutions business unit at McKesson Canada is seeking a highly skilled, experienced, and dynamic Lead Project Manager to lead a large-scale business transformation program enabled by business process change and major technology transformation. As the Lead Project Manager of this major transformation project, you will be the strategic partner to the leadership team within the business unit enabling and overseeing the end-to-end delivery of the project through all phases from initiation to completion. The scope of this project will be innovation driven process transformation for patient support programs and related services offered to biopharma manufacturers.Key Responsibilities:Lead the planning, execution and successful delivery of the complex business transformation project.Building strong relationships with the relevant business unit leadership and building in-depth knowledge of the strategic priorities for each business unit and understand how they operate.Be a steadfast and strong proponent for change and act as a change champion leading the business towards delivering services in a new way.Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure seamless adoption of new technologies and new ways of working.Support business case development with input from all relevant stakeholders and present to McKesson Canada leadership team for approval.Ensure adherence to project goals, timelines and budget – primarily supporting the business in remaining focused on high priority capabilities and managing scope-creep with a rigorous strategic approach.Manage project budgets, track expenditures and ensure cost-effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle by leading the business towards effective prioritization.Coordinate and manage multiple vendors and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery, within budget and in accordance with agreed upon quality standards.Engage with executive and leadership stakeholders to gain support, influence decision-making and ensure project alignment with organizational priorities.Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing issues that may impact project success.Prepare regular project status reports, deliver progress updates to stakeholders, lead SteerCo meetings and maintain project documentation and artifacts as needed.Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices, driving efficiency and effectiveness in project delivery.Foster strong cross-functional collaboration and working relationships with various teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Information Technology, etc.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is required.Deep understanding of the biopharma industry and healthcare delivery in Canada is preferred, but not required.Proven experience as a senior project manager leading large-scale business transformation projects, preferably with a strong technology component.Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively influence executive level leaders.Demonstrated experience in managing multiple vendors and stakeholder groups, negotiating contracts, and ensuring vendor accountability.Solid understanding of change management principles and extensive experience in driving organizational change.Financial acumen with the ability to manage large-scale complex project budgets in a highly structured organization comparable to McKesson.Strong problem solving and decision making skills with the ability to navigate complex project challenges in a timely way.Familiarity with relevant technologies and their impact on business transformation initiatives.#LI-AR2We are proud to offer a competitive compensation package at McKesson as part of our Total Rewards.
