We endure any condition, observe every detail, and are building a community that believes in living bravely and coming together to support game-changing people.Here, opportunities are everywhere - to try something new, to learn, to do meaningful and impactful work, and theyre yours for the taking.Job DescriptionThis key role will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of Canada Goose’s (CG) Global Trade Program with a focus on governance, and risk management, for compliance with regulations in multiple jurisdictions.What You’ll Do:Define scope and implement deliverables to enhance global trade processes and systems across Canada Goose and Trade Chain Partners’ sites.Collaborating with stakeholders to drive the adoption of Governance, Risk & Compliance policies, standards, and best practices.Review and report on partner controls for Cyber Security Management, Sanctions screening and Database management.Provides risk analysis relevant to ownership, risk and reward, security, financial and operational impacts, from ‘Purchase to Payment.’Make recommendations for Canada Goose alignment of global standards and document flows for operational adoption.Leverage existing and establish new partnerships for effective Trade and Customs networks to meet statutory deadlines and support global Supply Chain predictability.Liaise with internal and external partners on strategic and operational initiatives to drive financial optimization and resource management.Build exceptional relationships with internal & external stakeholders, achieving compliance, operational excellence, and strategic alignment.Deliver and maintain global trade standards, systems, supply chain security and regulatory compliance.Lets Talk About You:Bachelor’s degree in business, Commerce, International Trade, Risk Management5-10 years of Customs experience in apparel and footwear, for manufacturing and DTC.In-depth knowledge of Customs Systems, Global Trade, and financial regulationsPreferred customs certification and a well-established global trade networkAdvanced knowledge and experience in trade policy, processes, and trade systems.Familiar with Free Trade Agreements, Global Customs operations, WCO, WTO frameworkOutstanding interpersonal, communication, collaboration and influencing skills.Experienced with presenting at all levels of government, and customs agencies.Excellent computer literacy and skills in MS Office Suite, advanced timelines Excel, Power BI, Visio.Skilled at identifying gaps and presenting fact-based solutions for Compliance and Traceability.Ability to manage multi-geographical relationships, facilitate meetings and deliver action planning.Ability to work in a multi-national structure, with multiple government agencies and trade chain partners.Consistently exhibits Canada Goose Values, taking pride in being innovative, respectful, passionate, accountable, and entrepreneurial while exhibiting professional commitment.Additional InformationWhat’s in it For You?A company built on Canadian roots and heritageYour work is recognized with a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards ProgramOpportunities for career growth through numerous internal and external programsRecognize and be recognized by your peers with our Goose Rewards & ICON RewardsBe a part of CG Gives.
