How Does The Role Impact The Organization?

The Lead Engineer - Digital Workplace Endpoint Management plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of technology systems that underpin business operations at Raymond James. This role demands an experienced professional with proven expertise in communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving to support the Global RJ Enterprise endpoint environment capabilities.

What Will Your Role Be Responsible For?

  • Technical Leadership and Guidance: Provide strategic direction and technical leadership in the design, implementation, and optimization of digital workplace endpoint management solutions.
  • Project Management and Delivery: Lead and oversee the execution of endpoint management projects and security initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Endpoint Security Implementation and Compliance: Develop and enforce endpoint security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard corporate assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • System Automation and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the endpoint management environment to enhance operational efficiency and scalability and to enforce security standards.
  • Monitoring and Performance Management: Implement robust monitoring and performance management practices to proactively identify and address issues, adapt security measures and strategies, optimize system performance, and minimize downtime.
  • Participating in security reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls and recommend improvements.
  • Providing critical tier 3 support when needed and/or in an on-call rotation.
  • Undertaking other digital workplace accountabilities as assigned.

What Do We Expect From You?

  • 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, with a focus on digital workplace endpoint management, preferably in a large enterprise environment.
  • Post-secondary education in information systems or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience (e.g., certifications such as MCSE/MCSA, VCAP, CISSP, CCP-V/CCE-V).
  • Experience in system development and testing, including Enterprise Security and Financial Service domains.
  • Enterprise Implementation and Change Management experience.
  • Systems and Applications monitoring and alerting experience with tools like DataDog, ControlUp, and Splunk.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python.
  • Demonstrated commitment to a security mindset, with experience implementing security controls, endpoint protection tools, assessing security risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Extensive experience in assessing security risks, conducting vulnerability assessments, and developing remediation strategies to address identified vulnerabilities.
  • Proven experience in implementing robust security controls, endpoint protection tools, and security best practices to mitigate cyber threats and safeguard corporate assets.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively over multiple zones of time with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks and enhance security posture.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry-standard security frameworks and regulations (e.g., NIST, CIS Controls, GDPR, HIPAA) and a track record of ensuring compliance with relevant requirements.

 Salary Range: BC (based on Education, Work Experience, etc) $110,000-130,000 in addition to competitive performance bonuses/incentives.
