Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Lawyer to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with clients to provide comprehensive legal advice, representation, and advocacy. As a key member of Clark Woods LLP, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of cases and contribute to the growth and success of our practice.

Responsibilities :

  • Provide expert legal advice and guidance to clients in a variety of practice areas, including but not limited to family law, real estate law, estate planning, and civil litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy and decision-making.
  • Draft legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, hearings, and court proceedings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Stay informed about developments in relevant areas of law and participate in continuing education and professional development activities.

Qualifications :

  • LL.B. or J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
  • Member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in one or more practice areas relevant to Clark Woods LLP's focus.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to providing exceptional client service and achieving favourable outcomes.
