Job Description
Duties:Manage prototyping materials, 3D printer and supplies in the labOperate test equipment (Oscilloscopes, Thermal chamber, Robotic Test equipment)Engage in Testing and verification devices and products with different lab test tools, manual and roboticSupport general lab organization and upkeep, including monthly and annual equipment calibration, maintenance, and repair Execute and manage work through checklists Adhere to best practices to build out and define new lab procedures as needed Ability to safely handle hazardous chemicals in an lab setting, adhere to strict safety protocols, and usage of protective equipmentUpdate and execute JIRA requests, including clear and timely communication with the teamSkills:3+ years of experience as a lab manager or technician in a consumer electronics fieldExpertise in the hardware lab with test, measurement, and prototyping with 3D printing, machining, and specialized test equipment.Ability to read schematics, PCB layout, and mechanical drawingsDetail oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to prioritize and execute test plans with minimal supervision and imperfect procedures in a highly demanding environmentInitiative to recognize areas of improvement and take actionAbility to troubleshoot and repair circuit boardsSoldering experience
