To support these efforts Medovate is now looking to appoint an Assistant to work with the Quality Assurance & Operations teams as Medovate enters its next exciting phase of growth.”
Kickstart Quality Assurance & Operations? – Responsibilities:
This role provides support in all areas of the general operation of the day-to-day work of this start-up company. They will work closely with the Administration Manager who oversees the same work, together they will ensure the smooth running of business by following Company Procedures by also being in regular contact with staff. The individual will be given tasks to complete on a regular basis as well as ad hoc tasks from different departments. If the individual does not know something or is unsure it is essential that they are confident to ask for guidance. This is a role with diversity providing insight into every aspect of the company. One major system is the QMS (quality management system), therefore part of the role requires retrieving information, monitoring and controlling documents, ensuring documents remain legible and identifiable. All the tasks carry a high level of confidentiality and adherence to regulations and quality procedures which are audited and are central to the success of the products and the company.
Kickstart Quality Assurance & Operations? – Skills which will be developed:
Developing communication skills both internally and with stakeholders. Working with the Administration Manager means you will learn skills in supporting the operation of day-to-day work as well as practicing leadership and use of one's own initiative. You will develop IT skills and become proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Powerpoint, as well as gain experience using Excel. Organisation skills and the understanding of how-to priorities different tasks will be strengthened. This role will also provide skills in translating the company values into the working day, giving the individual good working ethics. The success candidate will gain valuable experience in the MedTech industry and in using an accredited QMS (Quality Management System).
Kickstart Quality Assurance & Operations? – Essential skills, experience and qualifications:
Skills:
Good interpersonal skills are key to this role. Flexibility and willingness to learn, understand and do. Basic IT skills and proficiency in document formatting will increase e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, Powerpoint etc. They will increase their ability to work under limited supervision, manage multiple tasks and prioritise assignments within established time constraints.
Experience:
Administration experience and understanding of the office environment and working in a team is essential.
Qualifications:
Good command of the English language – written and oral.
Good numeracy skills.
Interests and attitude:
An individual with an interest in medical device engineering, Quality Control, or healthcare industry would fit in.
