Main responsibilities of the role include:Engineering design and analysis to support habitat restoration, river engineering, and water management projects.Civil design and drafting to support development of project deliverables including calculations, reports, construction cost estimates and drawings.Planning, design, and execution of engineering designs and studies focused on fisheries and aquatic resources.Reporting and presenting findings to clients, regulators, Indigenous groups, and other stakeholders.Working as a member of an interdisciplinary team, collaborating with your colleagues to maximize work productivity and quality.THE QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR.A degree in Civil Engineering or Water Resources Engineering.EIT or relevant professional designation, or eligible.2+ years of consulting experience related to water resource engineering design and construction.Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil3d for civil design and drawing production.Construction management and field experience.Effective analytical and technical writing skills with the ability to produce high quality reports and proposals.Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality, and excellence.Effective and demonstrated communicator  with strong interpersonal skills. Reliable, well organized, motivated, and self- managed.We are committed to cultivating an authentic and diverse organization, welcoming all those interested in our work to apply.
