Our products span various specialties, including joint reconstruction, trauma, craniomaxillofacial, spinal surgery, and sports medicine.JOB DESCRIPTION:DePuy Synthes is seeking an ambitious Sales Associate to represent our expansive product offering that includes joint reconstruction, trauma, craniomaxillofacial, spinal surgery, power tools and sports medicine, in addition to VELYS™ Robotic-Assisted Surgery. All are designed to advance patient care while delivering clinical and economic value to the health care system.Building on our proud product innovation and legacy of industry firsts, we are reimagining the orthopaedic landscape with new advancements in medical technologies and digital surgery across the entire continuum of care to Keep People Moving today and tomorrow.The successful Sales Associate candidate will have the opportunity to sell and promote company products within a defined geographic territory. This will be accomplished by developing new accounts and expanding usage of company products within current accounts in an effort to meet a sales quota based on company sales goals and to directly increase sales revenue of the company.Working closely with surgeons and OR staff, you will provide exceptional service and ensure your customers' total satisfaction with our comprehensive line of products.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:• Sell products by scheduling sales calls to meet with current and potential customers to fulfill revenue and unitgrowth objectives assigned by company on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis.• Develop and implement sales strategies to effectively promote the company's products to appropriate hospitalpersonnel and physicians.• Observe surgical procedures in the operating room of hospital accounts to gain insight into the specificnuances of each physician and each member of the OR staff.• Respond to customer needs and complaints regarding products and service by developing creative andfeasible solutions or working with other related personnel to develop optimal solutions.• Build relationships with hospital personnel (e.g. through casual conversation, meetings, participation inconferences) to make new contacts in other departments within hospital and to identify key purchasingdecision makers in order to facilitate future sales.• Educate customers on the merits and proper clinical usage of company products by giving presentations anddemonstrations using a wide variety of formats and platforms to secure purchasing commitments, often withthe help of incentive programs and services made available to the account being developed.• Effectively manage evaluation, loaner, and sales sample inventory and return products in a timely manner andaccording to company policy.QUALIFICATIONS:• High level of energy, motivation, drive, persistence, initiative, commitment, and professionalism• Excellent time management skills and the ability to adapt to changing environments• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team• A strong comfort level in a clinical setting (operating rooms, hospitals)• Competitive and focused on achieving goals• Ability to build relationships with internal team members, customers and clinical KOL’sEDUCATION:• University Degree (BSc/BA in business or health related discipline preferred)WORK EXPERIENCE:• 5+ years of sales experience requiredREQUIREMENTS:• Ability to work evenings and weekends (on call work)• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs• Valid G driver’s license• Clean driving record
