Position: Junior Property Manager
Location: Pointe-Claire, Quebec
Salary: competitive
Hybrid - work from home 2 days a week

Responsibilities
-To make sure that high standards for cleanliness are respected on the property.

-To collect the rents of the tenants and payment of invoices having been sent to them, the whole in collaboration with accounts receivables.

-To make sure that each tenant respects its obligations mentioned in their lease document for collections, operations and insurances.

-To coordinate tenant/client relations so that they remain positive.

-To involve, motivate and direct the employees when necessary.

-Routine property visits to the assigned portfolio (car allowance given accordingly)

-To process the data and documents required by the Head Office (accounts receivables account payables, payroll, rebilling, etc...)

-Assist in all ways in the preparation of new tenants and presentation of empty locals to potential tenants (maintain vacancies in a state that are acceptable for the visit of potential tenants). All in collaboration with the leasing person responsible for the property.

-To assist in the co-ordination of all capital and/or building improvements
including but not limited to the Landlord's work specific to an existing/new tenant.

-To review the sales figures of the tenants and to make sure that the individual performances of those are satisfactory.

-To assist his /her supervisor in developing the annual budget and to make sure that the objectives are achieved.

-Continual evaluation of all possibilities for improvement for the property in order to maximize profitability.

-Daily activities concerning the operation and the maintenance of the property being assigned to you like:

- Preparation of various budgets and reports/ratios;

- The planning and the follow-up of maintenance and/or construction;

- The management and analysis of utility consumptions and safety devices;

- Any other function connected with the property.

Qualifications
Resourceful and organized with strong follow-up skills.

Works well as part of a team.

Good writing and oral skills/command of the French and English language

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

Internal and external communication skills; written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels of employees, suppliers and contractor.

Demonstration of strong values - loyalty, integrity, focus and accountability.

Bilingual

Experience in real estate
