Description: Reporting to the Accounting Manager, theJuniorProject Accountantwill work closely with other project accountants and finance professionals within our accounting group. This role is ideal for a new or recent college graduate looking to start their accounting career!Job Responsibilities:Creation of new projects into Deltek Vision, and review existing project prior to use;Ensure accounting records are up to date with client information;Financial management of a portfolio of projects, including inputting and verifying data into the accounting system to ensure accuracy of invoices;Collaborate with project managers to generate, finalize and issue final invoices and send them to clients via mail or email;Build strong relationships with project managers by providing monthly paperwork ensuring accurate project reporting;Leverage your attention to detail to review client agreements and ensure project budgets are accurate;Provide excellent customer service and accounting support to project managers regarding invoicing, project set up, and budget adjustments;Job Requirements:Post secondary diploma in the business/accounting field or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field;Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines;Strong attention to detail;Basic skills in Microsoft Excel, intermediate level understanding preferred;Ability to build and foster excellent working relationships;Excellent written and oral communication skills; andExperience with Deltek Vision application considered an assetA competitive compensation package effective on your first day of employment:Comprehensive health and dental benefitsDefined Contribution Pension Plan with employer matching contributionsGenerous vacation allowance commensurate with experienceEmployer contributions towards maternity leave top upHealth and wellness IncentiveMembership dues reimbursementEducation and lifelong learning subsidizationCommunity volunteering incentiveEmployee Family Assistance Program#J-18808-Ljbffr
