Are you ready to join our growing team and become a member of the Harding family?If so, read on!Role Overview Reporting to Production Supervisor, the Junior Production Coordinator is a self-motivated, well organized, and highly efficient member of the Production team.The incumbent is responsible for coordinating and assisting the Production team in their manufacturing of custom display orders from project hand off through to final shipment. The Junior Production Coordinator will interact with all departments to ensure on time delivery of customer orders and the highest quality end-product.Position ResponsibilitiesUnderstand project's scope before providing assistance with project items from the Production Coordinators.Prepare and package shop floor documentation required for conversion of project deliverables i.e. work orders, instruction sheets, labels etc.Monitor project timeline and works with the cross functional teams to establish the impact on timelinesConduct postmortems as requested, by reviewing job close out documents to identify opportunities and/or highlight any deficiencies and proposed corrective actions found during the project life cycleComprehends and communicate project challenges in-order to assist On-Time In-Full delivery while maintaining quality standardsCollaborate with internal teams to execute on client deliverablesWork closely with Production Coordinators to monitor project status and troubleshoot any project issuesCommunicate effectively and efficiently with internal teamsMake self-available with relatively short notice, typically 24 hours, to attend project hand-off meetingsUtilize project boards to ensure constant flow of communication and updates on project status and critical project informationComply with project board timelines in-order to ensure project delivery On-Time In-FullManages and monitors timely delivery of project materialsEnsures quality standards are met and maintained throughout the production process via necessary project approvals, approval of first off production samples and compliance with shop floor quality proceduresMonitors supply vs. demand by ensuring customer inventories are accurately accounted forParticipate in significant shop floor interaction,Ensure Health and Safety Policies, Practices and Procedures are followed on a consistent basisAdheres to company standard operating procedures and policies and utilizes company tools and resources to operate as requiredEffectively utilize company resources* All other duties as assignedWhat You Will Need to SucceedStrong organizational and time management skillsSuperior communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to manage and organize multiple priorities with competing deadlinesAbility to work in a highly collaborative, team-based environment Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite – Outlook, Excel, and WordKnowledge to read and interpret CAD drawings is an assetExperience in a manufacturing facility environment is an assetPost-Secondary Education in Graphic Communication Management, Project Management and/or Marketing is an assetExperience with an ERP system is an assetVarious substrate knowledgeIf this sounds like you, please do not hesitate to apply.
