Our client is the Canadian based consulting arm of this global provider of communications related products. Over the past 140 years, this client has been at the forefront of communications technology and remains committed to maximizing customer value by continuously evolving their business portfolio and leading the ICT industry. Our client works with one of the largest telecommunications companies in Canada, and continues to grow its portfolio of services in this organization This role is a mostly remote role and contract initially 6 months with 1 year extensions to follow. Candidates to be considered must have resided in Canada for 10 years in order to obtain Secret Clearance. Please do not apply if you have not lived in Canada for the past 10 years. Key Responsibilities: Exposure to applications on micro-services architecture IT operations support experience, technology agnostic. Experience supporting web applications will be preferred. Understanding of general infrastructure concepts and application architecture on high level. Right attitude to learn new applications is a key and is a must. Willing to be on on-call support on schedule basis. Good communication skills Skills & Experience Required: Computer Science Diploma or Degree Experience with technologies such as SQL and JavaScript Strong communication skills
