Our valued client relationships include major industry players like Cameco, Orano, BHP, Nutrien, Bunge, and more.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role based in Saskatoon, SK, with the flexibility for some remote work.Are you a recent graduate or early-career professional with a passion for electrical engineering? Do you possess a strong foundation in electrical principles and a desire to learn and grow in a dynamic environment?As a Junior Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to the design, testing, and implementation of electrical systems and components. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to a variety of projects across different industries.ResponsibilitiesDesign Support: Assist in the development and refinement of electrical designs, schematics, and layouts under the guidance of senior engineers. Utilize CAD software and other tools to create and modify electrical drawings as needed.Testing and Analysis: Participate in testing activities to validate the functionality and performance of electrical systems and components. Collect and analyze data, identify trends, and assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise.Documentation and Reporting: Prepare technical documentation, including test reports, design documentation, and project updates. Maintain accurate records of project activities and collaborate with team members to ensure documentation is complete and up-to-date.Collaboration and Learning: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to support project objectives and deliverables. Actively seek opportunities to expand your knowledge and skills through on-the-job training and professional development opportunities.Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all aspects of design and testing. Adhere to established quality assurance processes and procedures to maintain the integrity and reliability of electrical systems.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.Current EIT, or EIT eligible.Strong academic background in electrical engineering principles, including circuit analysis, power systems, and electronics.Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Key Knowledge & ExperienceNo prior experience is required for this position. Experience working in the consulting field, especially in the mining sector, and more specifically potash mining and/or uranium, would be considered an asset.
