We defy the notion that there are no new ideas by pushing ourselves to find new insights, perspectives, processes, and technologies that allow us to break the marketing mold.We are seeking a (Junior) Content Creator with a knack for storytelling thru social media and a flair for editing to contribute brand stories across a diverse range of clients and projects. The role will be a combination of remote and in-person work at F&B’s Toronto office. You will be mentored directly by and work alongside the Executive Director of Content. The salary for this entry level role is CAD$40K.As a junior Content Creator, you'll play a vital role in crafting engaging content for various social platforms while honing your editing skills along the way. You will build assets for social and digital mediums. You know how to translate creative feedback into editorial updates; and are building your bedside manner and creative collaboration skills with creatives and clients. You will build your experience by shooting internal agency and external client initiatives, BTS footage and quick turnaround social captures. You will work together with the creative teams to come up with innovative ideas, translating creative concepts across mediums before presenting to the Creative Directors. This role is an exciting opportunity for a new graduate or entry-level professional looking to work on a diverse range of projects, collaborate with talented creatives, and grow your editorial and content creation skills in a supportive and dynamic environment.Responsibilities engaging content for social media platforms, including photos, videos, graphics, and animations.editing for social and TV projects.and incorporating 2D motion graphicsto generate innovative ideas and translate them into compelling visual content.strong collaborative relationships with internal teams and external clients and vendors by providing guidance and direction.creative solutions, feedback, suggestions, and re-edits as needed during client/team screenings.updated on the latest trends and best practices in social media and content creation.file delivery for colour grading, audio mixing, vfx and final online session.with other editors and team members as required.department workflows and processes.Qualificationsportfolio or reel to show a body of work (student projects are ok!).in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator.in creating engaging content for various social media platforms.knowledge of all major social media platforms and an understanding of their content requirements.in shooting, editing, and animating, as well as creating graphics and other multimedia assets.in video and audio formats, codecs, frame rates, compression and file encoding.media management skills.storyteller with a keen interest in cinema, television, advertising and social media / cultural trends.with design, animation and motion graphics principles.team player, ability to partner with internal teams.We are currently following a hybrid work model and come together in our Toronto office 2x a week (Tuesdays & Thursdays).
