Our cutting-edge technology allows us to successfully manage and execute projects of all scopes and scales.If you want your next professional experience to be one that helps you master new skills, build meaningful relationships, access limitless growth opportunities, and benefit our Ontario communities, consider joining us!Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a healthy and safe work environment, ensuring proper protocol is implemented by craft and all other personnel on site.Assist in planning, scheduling and execution of construction activities including supervision of crews and equipment.Prepare work schedules.Assist with quality control and specifications as per contract requirements.Prepare correspondence with owner and consultants for review.Maintain plans, specifications, cost, material estimates, subcontracts, and reports to ensure latest issues are distributed and communicated as required.Coordinate procurement of construction materials ensuring timely delivery and accuracy of purchase orders.Ensure project cost requirements are met and coding procedures are followed.Provide technical assistance on site as required.Create reports on productivity, work completed and material yields.Expedite progress payment certificates, final payment certificates and all extra-work orders as per contract.Process time sheets for payroll and cost control purposes.Maintain job diaries, site photos and proper claims documentation.Process material packing slips, verifying quantities and receipt of materials, following up with discrepancies.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications2-3 years’ experience in the heavy civil construction industryCivil or Electrical technology or engineering post-secondary background an asset.Capable of reading and understanding construction drawings and documents.Knowledge of and experience working with AutoCAD, BIM and Revit an asset.Excellent knowledge of contracts, industry practices and work codes.Strong organization and time management skills.Ability to work independently and with minimum supervision.Problem solving and troubleshooting knowledge.Ability to manage and facilitate numerous projects simultaneously.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Self-motivated, self-dedicated, and results oriented.Ability to work with tight deadlines, multitask and follow up.Strong computer skills, using MS Office.Flexibility to work varying schedules.What Amico Can Offer YouCompetitive SalaryMedical, dental, and vision insuranceEmployer Matching Retirement ProgramLife insuranceAt Amico, we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal opportunities are available to all applicants and teammates.We thank all applicants for their interest.
