FLINT is currently searching for skilled and experienced Journeyperson or Apprentice Pipefitters (3rd or 4th year) to join our team in Cold Lake, AB! As a Pipefitter, you'll perform a range of tasks, such as fixing threaded pipes, testing for leaks, and replacing valves.

These temporary positions will start on June 25, 2024 and end on July 5, 2024 and comes with competitive compensation, travel allowance, and comfortable camp accommodations. If you are a registered Journeyperson Pipefitter or a 3rd/4th year apprentice with valid safety certifications, we encourage you to apply!

What would you be doing?  

  • Inspect, repair, and maintain piping systems.
  • Use testing equipment to check systems for leaks.  
  • Maintain and repair piping systems.
  • Replace damaged components and ensure proper functionality.
  • Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend, assemble, and install metal, plastic, and fibreglass pipes, valves, and fittings.
  • Join pipe sections and related equipment and secure in position.
  • Maintain accurate records of repair logs, maintenance schedules, and equipment specifications.
  • Other tasks as required.

Does this sound like you?  

  • Journeyperson Steamfitter-Pipefitter certification.
  • Valid H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry, CSO, and Fall Protection tickets are mandatory.
  • Experience with maintenance required.
  • Boiler experience is considered an asset.
  • Must have your own reliable transportation.
  • Proficient in English, both written and verbal communication required.
  • Physically capable of performing all necessary duties of the job, including but not limited to heavy pulling, pushing and lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, shoveling, bending, twisting, etc.
