We are seeking a highly qualified Hazardous Area Inspector to join our team for a project based in Corpus Christi - Ingleside, Texas. The successful candidate will join an existing team of 8 professionals and will carry out inspection tasks in the shipyard in accordance with IEC 60079-17 standards.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform hazardous area inspections with a focus on compliance and safety.
- Ensure inspections adhere to IEC 60079-17 standards.
- Work 10 hours per day, with Sundays off. If Sunday work is required and approved by the client, it will be compensated according to the signed timesheet.
- Ensure all inspections are thorough and meet the highest standards.
**Requirements:**
- Must hold either a compEX or IECEx certification.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work collaboratively with an existing team.
- Rope Access
**Contract Duration:**
- Approximately 5 months.
**Compensation:**
- Competitive hourly rates.
- Subcontractor agreement will be done direct with USD Entity and paid in USD.
- Additional compensation for any approved Sunday work, based on signed timesheets.
