Position:

Computer scientist or mathematician as a data engineer or data architect

Requirements:

  1. Experience in big data and cloud technologies
  2. Work location in Frankfurt on the Main
  3. Full-time, unlimited working hours

Responsibilities:

  • Drive the continuous expansion of the bank-wide innovative big data platform with state-of-the-art cloud technologies
  • Evaluate the requirements of bank-wide users and design solutions using data modeling
  • Design data transformation routes within the central analysis platform and implement them within a DevOps team
  • Set up and implement new, efficient DevOps processes
  • Focus on future-oriented cloud technologies
  • Coordinate closely with customers, architects, the IT department, and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in (business) informatics, (business) mathematics, data science, or a comparable field of study
  • Knowledge of agile software development methods, IT project management, and requirements management
  • Experience in data modeling and different approaches to data architectures
  • Broad knowledge of cloud technologies in big data engineering
  • Sound knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Scala, Java, PL SQL) and CI/CD
  • Experience in engineering data & analytics solutions
  • Knowledge and experience with Terraform is desirable
  • Strong ability to analyze complex structures and present them in a user-oriented manner
  • Strong communication skills, high initiative, and innovation orientation
  • Very good German and good written and spoken English skills

Remuneration in line with TVöD on the basis of pay group E 13, plus bank bonus.
