Black & McDonald Limited is actively seeking a Job Cost Analyst for Saskatchewan Region. Training will be provided for the successful candidate.The Job Cost Analysts primary areas of responsibility will consist of ongoing performance and monitoring of job cost and billing functions in support of regional business activities. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:Use JD Edwards software to set up job, add cost codes, log, enter, and review change orders, record booked sales, and review/update job forecast;Monitor project budgets and analyze budget variances;Monitor labour cost and identify discrepancies;Prepare salary and equipment recovery worksheets and other cost transfer forms;Generates accurate and timely draft billing for customer approval, sends invoices to client; post approved invoices, and collects overdue invoicesMonitors job for holdback release timelines and required documents for the job (bid bonds, certificates of insurance, stat dec, etc)Run and review productivity report;Prepare detail variance analysis and identify trends;Flag any potential risks and concerns;Provide job cost information for month end, quarter end and year end close;Participate in weekly WIP reviews;Update budgets, forecasts and billing structure supports for Change OrdersProvide ad-hoc financial analysis and reports for management as requested.Complete the job set up for projects utilizing Procore;Maintain the data base in Procore;Assist estimating teams by completing force account rate sheets;Other duties as assigned by your supervisor;COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTSUser knowledge of JD Edwards would be considered an asset.User knowledge of Procore would be considered an asset.Communicates EffectivelyCustomer FocusHolds Self and Others AccountableTeamwork and CollaborationValues and Respects OthersEDUCATION REQUIREMENTSPost-secondary education in accounting/finance or equivalent experienceWORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSPost-secondary education in accounting/finance or equivalent experienceSKILLS, ABILITIES AND OTHER REQUIREMENTSAdvanced user of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)Excellent time management skillsStrong organizational skillsBlack & McDonald welcomes and encourages applications from persons with disabilities.
