Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and follow-up • Effective interpersonal and communication skills • Ability to work as a team member and possess effective organizational skills. • Knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Health Act. • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs unassisted. • Must have experience working with adults living with an intellectual disability. • Class 5 Manitoba driver’s license and the ability to use own vehicle for work use. • Successful completion of the Adult Abuse Registry Check and Criminal Records Check. • All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada. Job DescriptionThis position requires a motivated, self-driven individual to ensure the safety and general well-being of a team of supported adults. Job coaching and leadership skills are a must, with particular experience in lawn care, gardening, and snow removal. The successful applicant must have experience in general maintenance of lawnmowers, snowblowers, and tools and how to instruct people safely on their use. Constant supervision is required while on shift. Full training will be provided and assistance is always on call. The successful candidate will be physically fit and able to work outdoors.
