Okanagan Staffing Servicesis seeking aFull-time IT Systems Administratorto provide upkeep, configuration, and operation of the computer systems and servers of our client. You will need to determine policies, supervise staff if applicable, and purchase IT equipment. Manage budgets, coordinate training programs, manage IT systems enterprise wide to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place. Understand relevant legal frameworks and legislation with respect to privacy and access and ensure compliance. Design, develop, implement, operate, and administer computer and telecommunication software, networks, and information systems. Support contracts, procurement, and work with third-party vendors as required.Computer Science or Computer Engineering Degreerequired with 5 years of related experience preferred. This job is 40 hours per week located in Westbank and no remote work available.Preference provided for Aboriginal candidatesand knowledge of First Nations would be an asset. Salary up to $111,435.00 annually based on credentials, 2 weeks vacation plus Xmas break, Full Medical and Pension benefits plus ten sick days and three personal days.
