We take great pride in providing exceptional opportunities for career growth at every level within our organization are committed to hiring ambitious and dedicated candidates who are eager to grow with us.Responsibilities: Maintain, update, troubleshoot multiple property management / control systemsManage and administer Domain Azure AD, Microsoft Entra ID, and Office 365Maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade existing server and software infrastructureComplete routine IT tasks (back-ups, software updates, network monitoring)Manage and troubleshoot hotel rate, available, and reservation sync systems with all major OTA providersIdentify needs and research, test, deploy new systems and services throughout the companyManage all IT related projectsAttend meetings with different segments of the companyManage a small teamWork with hardware/software vendors to resolve issues, and customize software for the businessComplete technical training for staff ranging from general Microsoft Office training to advancedproperty management system trainingOrdering and procurement of desktops, servers, printers, networking equipment, software forreplacement or expansion based on business needsProvide IT support, general IT maintenance and/or emergency call out outside of standard workinghours as necessitated by the needs of the businessMaintain a prioritized and organized task listTravel in the Halifax region to various sites to support employeesUndertake other duties and responsibilities as commensurate with the nature of the post as detailed in the departmental quality documentsWe Offer:Dental careVision careExtended health carePaid time offWellness programOn-site parkingEmployee eventsAnd more!Qualifications:Minimum two-years’ experience in systems administrationUniversity Degree in Computer Science or a two-year diploma in IT from a recognized institution (a combination of relevant education and experience in Information Technology will be consideredVast understanding and experience in technical troubleshootingTechnical certifications, or project management certifications considered an assetSolid understanding of project planning / management, time management, and data management conceptsKnowledge of practices related to the implementation of business solutionsExperience with Microsoft products required: Terminal Services, Microsoft Entra ID, Exchange Online, SQL server, Office 365, Office product suite, Windows Operating Systems, Hyper-VExperience with Networking equipment, Firewalls, Servers, Switches, VLANs, Wireless NetworkingComponents requiredExperience with Apple products required: MacOS, iOS, iPhone, iPad, MacExperience with the following items an asset: Opera PMS, Yardi Systems Voyager, Jonas Construction Software, WPS, Protégé ITC,Universal Realty Group recognizes our employees as essential to our success and value diverseskills.
