Job Description
What is the opportunity?
This role participates in the execution of IT and Operational Risk Management within Wealth Management Technology & Solutions (WMTS). Individual contributor with a good understanding of IT/cyber risk management concepts and communication skills, which will allow them to partner with application development, support teams and the Wealth Management Business, to ensure risk management activities are completed on time. Services provided by the broader team cover IT & operational risk analysis, risk & compliance exposure reporting, risk awareness & advisory, and audit/regulatory response.
What will you do?
- Monitor indicators to ensure they are within risk appetite/tolerance and escalate before indicators rise above these thresholds
- Contribute to the delivery of periodic reporting for WMTS global, and regional risk profiles and key initiatives
- Work with partners across WMTS to maintain automated risk insights dashboards
- Understand in detail current RBC Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- Strong communication (verbal and written) skills
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite. Specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of IT and operational risk management processes, methods and tools
Nice-to-have
- Security +
- CC - Certified in Cybersecurity
- Knowledge of GRC tools (e.g. ServiceNow, Archer)
