Data Theorem iOS Engineer Position
As an iOS engineer at Data Theorem, you will be responsible for enhancing our scanning engine to analyze iOS applications and identify security and privacy issues automatically.
You will:
- Work with the mobile team on tools to statically analyze IPAs to uncover security issues. Some parts of our iOS static analyzer are open-sourced at https://github.com/datatheorem/strongarm.
- Enhance our dynamic analyzer to study mobile app behavior and detect actions that may pose security risks.
- Collaborate with Data Theorem's engineering team distributed across the United States, England, and France.
- Research and implement new security checks to strengthen our scanning engine and assist customers in building more secure iOS apps.
We're looking for someone who has:
- Significant experience in iOS application and tool development.
- Good understanding of the iOS runtime.
- Some experience in Python tool development.
- Bonus points for experience in dissecting iOS software, including familiarity with Objective-C runtime APIs and tools like CydiaSubstrate, Frida, etc.
- No specific information security experience required; software engineering background is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in mobile technologies.
