We are looking for an organized and motivated individual to join our dynamic team as an Invoicing Analyst for our Brampton, ON office.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex billing system data and maintain up-to-date billing systems and customer files.
  • Review and validate invoices by checking payment authorization, corporate policies and compliance of documentation requirements.
  • Monitor customer account details for non-payment, delayed payments and other irregularities and update payments / reconciliation in QuickBooks.
  • Resolving billing issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Analyze billing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Create reports and present findings to management.
  • Review billing processes and suggest improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales or customer service.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of new billing systems and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's’ Degree in commerce, finance or accounting or related discipline would be considered as an asset.
  • Proven experience as a Billing Analyst or similar roles.
  • Strong knowledge of billing procedures, legislation, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
  • Ability to manage large amounts of data, using analytical skills to identify billing .discrepancies, trends, and other significant data points.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve billing issues or disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with clients, team members, and management, providing clear, concise billing information and addressing any queries or concerns.
  • Experience with billing software and databases.
