Opportunity Summary

Reporting into the VP, Investment Sales, the Investment Relationship Manager will be primarily responsible for building and maintaining relationships with potential investors, assist Investment Managers with their existing and potential clients.

Responsibilities

· Build investor confidence in the company’s vision and ability to deliver investor value;

· Qualify leads, work to build relationship with new leads

· Attend industry events and host information sessions on CMI’s whole mortgage loan product

· Help to develop and implement sales strategies and ensure efficient communication during the pre sales process

· Maintain the pipeline of new investors

· Guide new investors through the onboarding process

· Provide assistance to Investment Managers and encourage to execute the first whole mortgage sale

· Stay up to date on industry trends

Qualifications

· 5+ years of sales experience in a relevant industry.

· Proven sales track record and the demonstrated ability to consistently meet performance KPIs.

· Mortgage Agents license (Level 2), with a minimum of 2 years of Mortgage Sales experience preferred, or Mortgage Agents License (Level 1) minimum 1 year experience and able to obtain Level 2 license within 3 months of hire.

· Exceptional relationship building skills and a proven ability to source and develop new investor relationships.

· Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to craft powerful and engaging messages that inspire others.

· Strong presentation skills in a variety of audience sizes and settings.

· Entrepreneurial with an advice-centric client-service mentality.

· Proven self-starter who can work in a virtual environment.

· Ability to excel under pressure.

· Ability to work autonomously, self-manage and problem-solve with limited leadership contact and oversight.

· Previous experience in the private lending and/or debt investment space would be an asset.
