Job Description

Our Client is a privately-owned Canadian corporation that specializes in the engineering, design, manufacture, and sales of fit for purpose, small footprint utility vehicles. They provide aftermarket product support both directly and through their authorized worldwide dealership network. Their on-site engineering philosophy is to engineer vehicles that have the lowest Total Cost of Ownership for their customers given the harsh environments that the vehicles operate. Job Description: The primary role of the Inventory and Forecasting Analyst is to manage and be accountable for inventory efficiency within the business. This means ensuring inventory needs are met for internal and external customers such as Service, Production, Aftermarket. Inventory turn ratios are monitored and kept with agreed limits. Responsibility & Work Activities: Proven ability to establish, implement, and maintain strategies that support inventory turns. Forecasting demand and supply to meet demand Manage stock ROPS, turns, fill reports, (Just in Time) JIT delivery, OSMI, cash flow. Osmi....identify slow moving critical vs obsolete and review items for return, scrap, or potential sale. Inputting of prod inventory and setting proper lead times, stocking levels, costing, etc. (plan for every part) Review aftermarket inventory and adjust ROPs accordingly Work in very close conjunction with purchasing department. Manage consignment inventory contracts. Oversee inventory transfers between locations (am/prod/loc 4) · Analyse/manage inventory management systems to support business. · Develop and implement inventory control systems and practices. · Analyse supply chain data -Prepare reports/recommendations for Global Supply Chain manager. · Daily work order issuance for internal pick/assembly etc. · Working knowledge of contract management. · Good IT acumen is an added advantage. · Ability to lift 15lbs if needed. Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of Inventory Management and forecasting experience in a manufacturing environment Supply chain program of 2 years with focus on Inventory and forecasting. Intermediate or advanced Excel skills. Thorough knowledge of inventory management processors and systems Excellent knowledge of forecasting techniques Experience with Global Shop (ERP System) · Analytical, logical thought process and meticulous attention to detail Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify, and address problems, and meet deadlines in a cross functional team environment. . Reporting directly to the Supply Manager.
