Internal Audit Accountant III (18 Month Contract)Develops and maintains relationships with units.Monitoring revenueProvides technical accounting support to Unit TreasurerProvides support in the development of ongoing improvement of effective reporting systems, problem solving and responding to requests and enquiries.Occasional bookkeeping duties including bank reconciliations.About the OpportunityUnit AdvisoryDevelops and maintains relationships with units.Monitoring revenueProvides technical accounting support to Unit TreasurerProvides support in the development of ongoing improvement of effective reporting systems, problem solving and responding to requests and enquiries.Occasional bookkeeping duties including bank reconciliations.Unit Year-end audit ProceduresAssists in internal financial statement audits, prepares financial statements and notes disclosures as required.Perform variance analysis and other financial and system analysis.Research and solve simple accounting issues.About You3 years of experience in Audit.Working knowledge of GAAPA minimum of three years previous experience with SAGE 300Minimum of three years experience using working with QuickBooksAdvanced levels in Excel and PowerPoint. (pivot tables & vLookups)Strong organizational and project management skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills.A strong ability to quickly understand organization structure, processes, and culture.Experience and/or interest for technical research in accounting standardsAbility to maintain strong client relationshipsAbility to travel to Unit offices, if required.Ability to meet deadlines with strong attention to detail.Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.Completed undergraduate degree in accounting, economics or related fieldMust be enrolled and working towards Certified Professional Accountant (CPA).Salary Range$73,393 - $79,960/yearHow to ApplyClick the "Apply Now" button and follow the instructions to submit your resume.
