Job Description
Our client is well known in the industry, and they want you to be one of their Underwriters for their Specialty Team.
What you will be doing:
- Manage and grow an existing book of business.
- Review quotes and manage renewal business.
- Develop and maintain broker relationship partnerships to increased production.
- Help develop products based on market knowledge.
- Mentorship of junior underwriters.
What we are looking for:
- Understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Level 1 General Insurance license (or the ability to obtain within a certain time frame)
- CAIB, CIP, CRM, FCIP or working towards a finalizing a designation is preferred
- Knowledge of specific lines (sports, leisure and entertainment)
