Intermediate / Working Level Product Design Engineer This position requires the following: Great interpersonal skills, Ability to work well within a team and with clients, Detail oriented, high personal standards, Happily accepts challenges and is a strong problem solver. Main Responsibilities: Mechanical Engineer/Analyst 4-7 years of experience with model simulation. Thermal and Structural Analysis of embedded systems. Familiar with electronics and component level detail. Ability to perform Design Verification Testing and Qualification testing of electronic equipment; and complete supporting documentation. Experience with Six-Sigma and Failure Investigations an asset. Comfortable interfacing with customer technical authority, troubleshooting , post-processing, interpreting and presenting results. Familiar with FloEFD, Ansys, NX, Fluent, Icepak and/or Solidworks Simulation/Flow Simulation. Requires successful security assessment under Canadian CGP. Product Design Mechanical design of Embedded Systems. Minimum 4-7 years of experience with electronic assemblies. Familiar with military specifications and VITA standards. Comfortable interfacing with customer technical authority, problem solving and conducting design reviews. Experience with SOLIDWORKS. Creo and NX considered an asset.
