Dynamysk is currently looking for a Intermediate / Senior - Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer / Technologist to be a member of our team. You will collaborate with more senior team members, playing a multi-faceted role in supporting our clients in the Automation Solutions space. You will be pivotal in solving our customers business problems using your creativity and technical expertise to create, design, and implement innovative control system solutions. Ultimately, you will provide superior client experiences partnering with your internal team to cohesively deliver a vision, energy, and intensity that exceeds client expectations. To thrive in this role, you’ll need to have strong interpersonal skills, love variety, work independently, communicate well, be detail oriented and have a high level of organizational skills.

This position is based out of Dynamysk Head Office in Calgary, Alberta

Responsibilities

  • Provide Instrumentation, Electrical and Controls design support to multidisciplinary teams
  • Understanding and development of engineering deliverables: P&IDs, Shutdown Keys, Control System Architectures, Control Narratives, Panel Drawings, I/O Drawings, data sheets etc.
  • Creation of construction packages including scope of work and drawings and perform interdisciplinary reviews
  • Assist with Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) database entry
  • Participate in project planning and execution
  • General office / project tasks

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma in Engineering/Technology from a recognized faculty or equivalent qualification
  • 5+ years experience in the Electrical and Instrumentation industry as an Engineer, Technologist, and/or project manager, technically delivering on projects.
  • A proven self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude who is motivated by solving complex challenges
  • A strong client-focused approach, dedicated to providing exceptional client experiences to our internal and external customers
  • Ability to multi-task, exercise good judgment and prioritize workload through outstanding organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
