GIANT is seeking a Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team in London, On. This full-time, in-office role is pivotal in producing high-impact visual communications that resonate with diverse audiences. Reporting directly to the Art Director, you will leverage your expertise in Adobe Creative Suite and web design to create a variety of marketing materials, from digital advertisements to print media. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and produce marketing materials on both print and digital, including ads, brochures, flyers, websites, social media content, promotional items for trade shows, presentations, email marketing, infographics, event materials, and other promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine visuals and create effective campaigns, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, from digital content to print media.
  • Assist in the development of branding projects, providing input on colour schemes, typography, and logo design.
  • Adhere to existing Brand Guidelines and apply the established guidelines across all designs, including colour palettes, typography, logo usage, and layout conventions to maintain a cohesive brand identity.
  • While adhering to guidelines, also bring a level of creativity and innovation to projects that evolve the brand's visual representation without compromising its established identity.
  • Review and revise designs based on feedback from team members, including art directors, marketing directors, content strategists, to improve and finalize designs.
  • Manage multiple projects from concept through completion under tight deadlines.
  • Ensure that all design files are easily accessible to team members by maintaining a clear and consistent filing system that aligns with the team’s workflow and project management tools.

Skills and Experience:
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Graphic Designer
  • Content writing abilities would be an added advantage
  • Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Figma, AfterEffects is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft/Google Doc programs
  • Web design and or illustration skills, considered an asset
  • Intermediate motion graphics and custom animations experience would be an advantage
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong design principles, respecting brand guidelines, while employing strategic and creative tactics on project work
  • Knowledge in print production, must be competent to build print-ready files and is an expectation
  • Ability to interact, present and collaborate with Agency team to develop unique design approaches to a variety of Client needs
  • Keen sense of detail, and a desire for a visual pleasant combination of typography, colour and layout
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Effective time management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize as needed
